I got this game, played it for 15 minutes, then never played it again. This is absolutely NOTHING like the other games. Who in the heck wants to be able to only move 4 spaces and take silly “turns” with the enemy?
There is no free movement in this game and the action is a big zero.
Worst game to date I have ever played. I don’t see how anyone can rate this game well. It is about as fun as checkers. And since you are only allowed to move a few spaces at a time and use stupid cards to do certain actions, it plays like checkers.
Don’t waste your money on this game. I sure did.

didn’t like the game, slow paced, had to do something with cards, but didn’t enjoy it at all. i recommend sticking with the original metal gears.

This game is pretty deep than average games. I finished the game on normal, finishing every level regardless what grade I get. I didn’t find it challenging, just want to finish the game and see the ending. Then I start on extreme mode, it was impossible to me at first, I cannot even finish the first level, the problem is I save the game already on top of the original save. If I start again, I will loss all my card collection. So I tried different methods, and I finish one level at a time with so many tries on some of them. The most memorized level is the last level “escape route”. I thought it is a walk in the park. However, it was the deepest for me in all levels. I learned the true essence of this game on the last level on extreme mode. What a game! I am going back playing all extra scenario on every level and try get S rank on all levels in easy mode, and then work my way up on different difficult level. I have been playing games for over 20 years. This is the first review I give because it is a damn good game!
