  1. Decent graphics, nice plot, cool options to go from vehicle to vehicle like Grand Theft and Driver 3. Don’t send more than $20.

  2. Pursuit Force is a very addictive game with a level of quality rarely seen on the psp. There is no exact first mission, in fact you can pick what gang you want to face first although you eventually have to defeat all the aquired missions to go on to others but nonetheless it doesn’t halt the action in anyway.

Pursuit force puts you as a rookie cop trying to make it as a pursuit force officer, through this you will go through the missions as him. The more missions you complete the higher your rank gets. Even then for every rank you get, you also acquire bonuses such as agilty and regeneration. The game pits you intense action where you must jump from car to car and successfully “hijack” the vehicle.

The game has dozens of vehicles to chose from, boats, motorcycles, helicopters, 4×4’s, sedans and convertibles. The game doesn’t stop there though as not only does it have a career mode but extra modes for extra gameplay. The only downside is there is not enough modes to suit an elite gamers hunger but it still has modes which shows that it wasn’t just a ” let’s make some money” kind of game, such as dice *cough*. One expierience that many gamers hate in certain genres are escort missions oddly eenough because of the jumping manuver the escort missions in Pursuit force makes it fun. Trust me when I say you’ll be wanting more.

It feels all so great at first but does eventually wear down as many levels can feel too repetitive. The basic gameplay is not without faults as you cannot cycle trough your weapons and when you don’t feel the weapon you are currently using is not the right weapon you want to use it can feel forced. The helicopter minigun is hard to manuver but you can get used to it, but you can’t pilot helicopters nor do you really have friend;y A.I except for escort missions which sets how much the game can do.

The gameplay isn’t exactly unique but it has it’s strong points, the jumping from car to car doesn’t feel all that repetitive just for pure addictive reasons. The career is way too short and can take less than 6 hours to finish. Thankfully thats where the extra game modes come in. Though only two they still give you a reason to play besides the career. The lack multiplayer sets the games overall score down, not even to just race with your friends but it still is a unique expierience. In the end you feel for a definete sequel although its iffy whether one will be made.Rent or buy the game will get you hooked.

  3. This was one of my first games for the psp when i got it at christmas time around a month ago. I like this game because for being on a hand-held it has pretty good graphics and sound. I love how you can jump from car-to-car and if you have enough points you can jump in slow motion and shoot the drivers and passangers(you can do that anyway but its cooler in slo-mo). Its a pretty long game because ive played it for no less than 4 hours and it says im about 37% through the game.

I got this game for christmas for around $19.00 brand new on ebay. I think for being brand new that, that is a very good price. I think its worth max. $20 but not really much more than that. So if your looking for a cheap shooter/racer pick this game up soon.

  4. Gotta be short and sweet since I’m at work. While the gameplay in innovative and very much fun at first, once you get past the fact that you’re slo-mo jumping from one car to another, and then trying to do the same with the next car in line, it just gets old quick. There is no aiming your weapon, or any other skill techniques for that matter. You press one button to automatically jump onto another car, you hold R trigger to lock on and fire. Sometimes it’s cars, sometimes trucks, sometimes boats, but they all work basically the same. I wouldn’t pay over $20 for it.

  5. Graphics are pretty good, specially some of the movie cuts to setup the story. Game is a mix of driving game, shooter, and just plain fun. The controls are pretty easy to learn. Action is continous, no wasting time with setting up the story line..just that you are cop and you must do what you captain wants to bring law and order to the city. Only negative is that you can’t turn off the power (sleep mode) in the middle of load screen. You have to be with in the game to get the psp to sleep mode. Overall- great game.
